Softball: Help (Quickly from Afar)
Dear People,
I know what you're thinking. You're thinking My God, at what point does your supposed concern for our cardiovascular integrity actually reveal itself to be a twisted indifference to the brutal emotional scarring of another aerobic release denied? Look, I hear ya, and after two rainouts in four weeks, I'm inclined to agree that the most reasonable thing we can do now is ride out the winter with a disciplined weekly regime of indoor Ukrainian chess-boxing. I'll look into it, lest I lose what little authority I have left to continue leading this community.
In the meantime, though, I happen to be stuck in Seattle, deep in the depths of my sister's basement dungeon. It's rainy, dank and 50 shades of morale-crushing gray outside, and nightfall arrives at 3. In brief, this is simply no place for a civilized life, and therefore the last game of this totally annoying year will be at sunny Codornices this Sunday at 11, IF I get enough commits by this Friday morning

Softball: A Relatively Productive Working Sojourn
Dear People,
There will be a game at Codornices this Sunday at 11AM, and as of now it is full. As always, please let me know ASAP if you committed and need to cancel, and if you still want in, feel free to get on the wait list or contact me later for news of reopened slots.
I'll still be stuck in my sister's Seattle basement thru Saturday night, so if it rains over the weekend or conditions are ambiguous, please check email that morning.
This week's field fee is just $4, and that includes a post-game comparative analysis of my current predicament with the Gulag Archipelago
