Softball: History, Relief and Schadenfreude
Dear People,
Jeff W’s team rallied from a harrowing 14-1 3rd inning deficit to beat mine 19-15, suggesting once again that my captainship may arguably require a more ‘effective’ approach to the stewardship of overwhelming tactical advantage. Still, we played with elegance and grace even as we crumbled, and I would tell you all about it if I weren’t currently distracted by the delicious look of anguished disbelief on Sean Hannity’s FOXy little visage. The point is that there is no need to seek out new softball fields in British Columbia, and therefore there will be a game at Codornices this Sunday at 11AM, IF I get enough commits by this Friday morning…Ray

Softball: Herbs of the Executive Transition
Dear People,
There will be a game at Codornices this Sunday at 11AM, and as of now, there are still four slots left. As always, you’ll need to check your email if it rains a lot between now and then or if climatic conditions are ambiguous or contemptible that actual morning.
Please bring $3 for the field, which for this week only includes a delightful post-election goulash with crème fraîche and chervil…Ray 845-7552
