In one of those kick-ass displays of taut competitive excellence that gives clarity of aerobic purpose to our otherwise pointless lives, Chris Fure's team barely staved off my own, 14-12. Yet that's not important now, for the bitter reality is that I'm once again trapped in the dank possum-infested basement of my sister's Seattle abode (I shit you not-she's got tertiary possi). Moreover, while I'd love to wax poetic on the glories of last week's magnificent match, good 'ol Sib-witch here is forcing me to spend 18 hours a day making sure that every potential reader on earth can grasp the utterly fascinating distinctions between eggwhite cervical fluid and residual semen (or maybe it's residual seaman-In all candor, I'm drained, frightened and have lost all perspective).
The point is that I'm simply not going to allow my current enslavement to define who I am, for unlike some, I'll always take a 2-RBI triple over a stupid post-ovulatory thermal shift, and frankly, I happen to know that on this, of all issues, every one of you is with me. And therefore there will be a game at Codornices this Sunday at 11, IF I get enough commits by this Friday morning . . . Raymond
