Softball: Drained
Dear People,
This will have to be brief since my sister is currently visiting from her dark and dank Seattle oubliette, and as is her wont, she brings with her such a frightful abundance of Weschler-family neurosis that I am left with virtually no energy to inform, harangue or woo you. Still, I can report that last week’s game was a magnificent 17-16 display of aerobic competition at its most shamelessly feral, each team battling for the ever-shifting lead like a ravenous pack of blood-thirsty grazing coons. Unfortunately though, my team "lost," and therefore there will be a game at Codornices this Sunday at 11:00, IF I get enough commits by this Friday noon….Raymond

Dear People,
There will be a game at Codornices this Sunday at 11AM, and as of now there are still FOUR slots left.
Please bring $2 for the field, which for this week only includes a delightful post-game filet of sautéed moulard duck, served with a crisp Savoy cabbage, Spanish caper emulsion and fresh chocolate ding-dongs….Raymond 845-7552
