Softball: Priorities (A Brief Look at Familial Dynamics)
Dear People,
My team stunned Chris Fures, 19-9, thanks in large part to Ehuds frightfully disarming curve ball (the one that gives off a sassy preemptive Doppler Effect just before reaching the plate). Of course, having Jonny as my shortstop was also critical, and I cant tell you how tingly I felt knowing that his mom, sister and girlfriend were all there to cheer him on. Oh sure, they were soon bored out of their minds and thus headed for the El Cerrito Plaza at the end of the 1st, but that doesnt mean their aerobic love isnt infinite.
Indeed, Mom flew 85 hours from Johannesburg to see her little boy shine, and thus the real point here is that if one three-minute inning is enough to sate that fervid maternal pride, who are we to say that the linen sale at Macys was not more worthy of her time? I, for one, will never question the inscrutable bond of the genetically linked, and therefore there will be a game at SAN PABLO #2 this Sunday at 12 NOON (which is just like 11AM except that its actually an hour later), IF I get enough commits by this Friday morning

Softball: A Test in Basic Comprehension
Dear People,
There will be a game at SAN PABLO #2 this Sunday at NOON, and as of now there are still seven slots left. You are therefore welcome to commit anyone else you know, although be aware that the really infirm and legally blind have rarely done well at the plate. Also be aware that if you show up at 11, youll be an hour early, and if you show up at Codornices, youll be live on the webcam illiterateDufus.com
$3 for the field/Hasta Domingo

PS: San Pablo #2 is at the corner of Mable and Oregon at San Pablo Park, about three blocks Northeast of the corner of Ashby and San Pablo. From San Pablo Avenue, turn East on to Oregon, drive three blocks and youre there.
PPS: SP will be taken til noon for the next couple weeks, and Codornices will reopen in December, with a brand new sheathing of verdant aphid-filled grasses.
