Softball: No Time to Woo Ewe

Dear People,

My team fell behind early, fought back to a tie, stumbled again, surged ahead late, and then mercilessly crushed the slightest conceptual patina of a final-inning rally before assuring ourselves a sublime 16-14 triumph. Jonny’s team, on the other hand, simply floundered about like a drunken river-rhino in estrus before finally sinking for good under his utterly feckless captainship. I know that sounds harsh, but I happen to be a journalist, and in the end, all I can write is what I see. And therefore there will be a game at Codornices this Sunday at 11, IF I get enough commits by this Friday morning…Raymond

Softball: Considerations

Dear People,

There will be a game at Codornices this Sunday at 11, and as of now, there are still two slots left.

This week’s field fee is $2, and while that may seem like a confiscatory outrage, it does include comprehensive spleen insurance for the duration of the match….Raymond 845-7552
