Softball: The Abstractions of Cancellation
Dear People,
My team beat Jeff Ws 16-14 in a grueling 11-inning paragon of calamitous aerobic excellence, but because we were rained out, this match took place by the internal event horizon of a much beloved black hole near the edge of the M106 Galaxy. To clarify, our games in parallel univi are obviously as real and vital as any within our own experiential frame, and thus while the Jeffster may gripe about utterly irrelevant infractions of the interplay between recreational astrophysics and epistemological certainly, I think we all know that this is not the kind of thing that Im going to casually misreport. Nuff said.
In any case, the real point is that when several of us gathered at Chesters Café that stark drizzly morn, we didnt sit around sulking over the fact that our curious quantum identicals were burning off more calories than we were. Indeed, Chris Fure and I chose to feast on a succulent platter of Challah French Toast served with real maple syrup, which, truth be nutritionally told, will undoubtedly make us leaner, faster and simply more focused and exceptional athletes. And therefore there will be a game at Codornices this Sunday at 11, IF I get enough commits by this Friday morning. . .Ray
PS: Steve Seskin, one of the most compelling players in our entire community, and of course our greatest singer-songwriter, will be returning to Freight and Salvage this Friday evening. Details here. . .
