Dear People,
Congratz to all on last weeks swirling 18-11 cauldron of geoaerobic magnificence. I am still awestruck by the pre-game compromise that initiated a maximum 12 foot pitchers arc in exchange for throwing open Codornices entire post-periphery tundra to the staggering simplicity of the "everything is live" rule, and indeed, that such a dramatic change can be propagated with only minimal gunfire is a lasting tribute to the organic resiliency of our recreational democracy. Of course, I have a personal stake here, for with the deep center-field bushes now vulnerable to strategic penetration, I am utterly convinced that Ill at least double my current average of one home run per decade.
And speaking of institutional resilience, I am well aware that while we all thrive on the dynamic evolution of both community and sport, none of you wish to be treated like you were just another tawdry chrono-athletic-whore-thing, jumping from one time slot to another as if temporal consistency had no inherent value within the kinesiological sphere. I certainly understand this, and thus I would not switch our game to Saturday evenings unless it was absolutely necessary, for I have no desire to prevent your weekly ritual of wooing some innocent unsuspecting love-interest into the oozing sensuality of your fashionable East Bay lair.
Still, I think we can all concede that the thought of most of us ardently pursuing the object of our desire on a hot Saturday Night date is an objectively hideous image, and if a well-timed match can minimize the likelihood of such unseemly endeavors, then so much the better. And therefore, there will be a game at Codornices this SATURDAY at 5:00, IF I get enough commits by this Friday morning

Dear People,
There will be a game at Codornices tomorrow at 5PM, and as of now, there are still a few slots left. This weeks field fee is just $1, and that includes a delectable pan-seared rock cod served with muffin, fresh garden greens and a generous ice-cold stein of tyrosine-phosphorylated proteins
