Softball: The Varied Targets of my Sassy Wrath
Dear People,
Chris Fure, Alan Miller, Frieda, Justin, Enid and myself settled into the back booth by the dayglow poster of Rabbi Schnitzel at Sauls Jewish Deli, and I have to tell ya, the grub was fresh, sapid and bursting with nutritive Hebraic succulence. Better yet, as the despicable drizzles continued outside, we stayed dry and toasty and bantered joyously about fine food, the pedagogical challenges of cervical fluid, and most importantly, how curious it was to not have a true red-blooded conservative in the race. We all concurred; Why cant McCain just embrace mass deportations, torture without apology and the sanctity of frozen fertility-clinic zygotes like the Lord would clearly want him to?!
In any case, and despite our good cheer, I insatiably yearned for some form of genuine aerobic release, and because Alans eyes had that mischievous gaze, I felt hed be open to my challenge; The first one to down 20 Ukrainian Blintzeha light crepe of farmer cheese served with sour cream and jamwould be crowned competitive-eating champ of our entire unaffiliated email-organized league! Surprisingly, he sneered at the idea and said hed only consider such scarfing if we partook of kippers and eggs, a proposal I found utterly revolting if for no other reason than I dont even know what kippers are.
The point is that certain rogue bureaucrats within the city of Berkeley are now threatening to hand over our beloved homeland to some presumptuous gaggle of pre-pubescent softball-hating Lacrosse-playing freakos. Apparently we havent suffered enough, but rest assured, I happen to believe in talking to the enemies of our people, so I am currently doing everything I can to retain our field at our rightful and chosen time. And therefore, and unless you hear otherwise, there will be a game at Codornices this Sunday at 11AM, IF I get enough commits by this Friday morning

Softball: Spring Rush Early
Dear People,
There will be a game at Codornices this Sunday at 11AM, and as of now it is full. As always, please let me know ASAP if you committed and need to cancel, and for those who still want in, feel free to contact me later for word of any reopened slots.
This weeks field fee is just $3, and that includes a festive post-game tribute to recurrent stagflation
