Softball: A Principled Stand for Aerobic Renewal
Dear People,
I am delighted to announce that without even resorting to the unbecoming spectacle of the traditional Friday morning grovel, there will be a softball game tomorrow at 12 Noon at Kleeberger North.
My sources within the climatological intelligence division of the Estonian consulate in Livermore put the risk of rain at well under 42%. However, and for the record, we proved last week that softball under the cleansing dripage of a genteel Northern California drizzle is as invigorating as it is dignified, and I for one plan to be out there with mitt, bat and football, proud, alone and stupid-looking if necessary, unless it's raining so hard that Kleeberger itself were reduced to a greenish mosquito-infested suck-swamp of misery...Raymond (510) 845-7552
