Softball: Brevity and Awe
Dear People,
Congratz to all on last weekend’s 19-11 display of intensively sudorific aerobic good cheer. As the exquisitely drained park grasses shimmered under the luxuriant warmth of the East Bay morning sun, the purity of athletic grace that marked every successive inning left me feeling more vital than ever before, a stunning reincarnation of my previously logy self. While I hesitate to speak further lest you refute me as a cloying cad, I must confess that for me, there truly is something sublime about this blessed game of ball and stick, something beyond the merely spiritual or glandular. I will investigate.
In the meantime, there will be a match this Sunday, February 13th at 11AM, IF I get enough commits by this Friday noon….Raymond
